Resolution Linky

Mine is to follow more closely in His footsteps.

Add yours below.

  1. My goals are to eat less fast food, read His Word more, and to spend less time on Facebook!

  2. I am resolving to read my Bible daily...not missing a day of being in the Word. Looking forward to God doing some big stuff in my life this year!

  3. There are so many things I need to change in my life to make it more pleasing to Him and better to/for my family. I will continue my daily Bible reading because this is the one constant in my life.
Jerry's aorta rupturing and God's amazing grace in saving his life has made me realize how precious life is and that every day truly is a gift and is to be cherished every day.
Hope everyone realizes how precious their loved ones are without having to go through something so drastic. May you all have a blessed and happy 2014.

  4. My word for the year is FORWARD. I read Ann Voskamp's passage from 12/30 & it described me to a T ( and forward was the biggest thing I gleaned. I had already determined one of my scriptures to be "Let the words of my mouth & the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, oh Lord my rock & my redeemer." Psalm 19:14 I'm trusting God for new ideas in parenting to use my words more softly, kindly, accurately, and my tone would be soothing to the soul. God knows what I need & what I desire most in my heart. Desperate for more. Movement. Forward.

  5. Work less!! I need to make time for rest, reading, and getting to know my neighbors and their culture more. There will always be another project to do. There will always be something not quite perfect, and there will always be tomorrow. My dad was reminding me of an old saying that if you want something to get done, give it to the person who has the most work to do. That's me! I have to be okay with things not being perfect. I have to delegate more. And I have to balance other aspects of life better. I tried to start this in 2013, but I haven't gotten very far. This is the year it sticks!

  6. Pray more & worry less! Pray that my eyes will be opened each day to seek out those who need to be encouraged and uplifted and to do just that! To be grateful in all things and to look for opportunities to shine for HIM!
