Wednesday Words

One of the joys I have in teaching second grade is watching the sheer delight children have in learning something new, unusual, and interesting.  What seems very simple and common place to an adult may be brand new and amazing to a child.

As an adult we want to reflect that enthusiasm to help them realize how fun learning can be.  It's an encouragement to continue learning.  This is especially true for the child who struggles to learn.  It behooves both teachers and parents to provide these children with enough successful experiences that they want to continue to learn
